Town Run

I got to do my first town run a few days back now into Wolfoboro. The town run is basically a run into town with the obhjective of picking up goods and or services required by Merrowvistians. The list was not extensive on my town run just some goodies for the once weekly reference group ( is a chance for staff to meetup and discuss any issues that have arisien through out the week so that different perspectives or ways doing something can be arrived at. It's also a chance just to be away from campers for a while) and some stuff (i'e lots of lollies (or as they say down these parts "candy")) for MV family fued (the campers fill out a survey that forms the basis for the game show based entertainment). I also picked up a DVD (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind)for Stockman (the building I'm, currently reside in with most of the logistics, waterfront and kitchen staff).

On a side not worthy of a seperate paragraph, wolfoboro is the closest lakeside town to Merrowvista. Like most towns in New Hampshire it relies upon the summer season and postively correlated influx of people with lots of dispossable cash. Though it doesn't have wuite the range of boutique shops as say Portsmouth of North Conway it has a Lake and that kind of makes up for it. Wolfoboro is also the location of Brewsters Acadamy the equivielnt to a APS school back in Victoria. They have their own Buses that are painted magenta like contrasting sharpley with the omnipresent yellow variety.

In the end was a good town run. Got out of Merrowvista for a bit, was not involved in any accidents and driving on the wrong side of the road is not such a bad thing as long as your in the right country is sweet.
