Return Sojourn to The Land of Frosted Corn Flakes

So where exactly is The Land of Frosted Cornflakes (LOFCF) and why would one wish to travel there? To answer the first part of the question, it's a name I came up with after eating Corn Flakes encrusted with sugar, whilst staying at a summer camp in the USA called Miniwanca. In Australia Corn Flakes are not frosted. Enough said. As to the second part, I’m sure, as you read on you’ll come to your own conclusions. If at least 70% of my blogs are unfunny your money will be refunded. Cheers, Tim

Flag Raising Part I

Every morning at Merrowvista we have flag raising. Flag raising gives an oppurtunity for one villege (group of up to 12 campers) to offer their own thoughts on a topic and then the rest of the camp reflects upon what was said or the topic at hand before Breakfast is called. After the villege has spoken they then raise an object up the flg pole that symbolises the topic they have talked about.

Todays topic was that to take in all the small moments. The object which they raised was a phot which symbolised a forever freezed moment in time that how ever small meant a great deal to the person who took it.

So do many small momenents add up to something much more? Do the roses smell that much sweeter if we stop? Does the smallest gesture mean more than a great good intentsion?

Good questions though I don't know the answers.
